The HDMI-TPS-TX226-HT10 bundle, which consists of an HDMI-TPS-TX226 transmitter, an HDMI-TPS-RX96 receiver, and their accompanying accessories, serves as a comprehensive solution for transmitting video, audio, and control signals over a single CAT cable. It can cover a range of 170 meters in various settings, including dynamic and fixed environments such as meeting rooms, boardrooms. Additionally, it offers remote power capabilities through DC 12V for distances of up to 30 meters, contributing to the streamlined design, integration, and operation of AV systems.
The extender pair was designed to handle HDMI 1.4 digital video signals and analog stereo audio from local inputs or HDMI embedded audio, supporting up to 8 channel PCM or HBR audio. (The analog audio is converted to a digital format.) Notably, the device has a local video output, and the video and the embedded audio of the local output is the same as transmitted via the TPS link.
It can handle the HDCP encryption, and using the factory, custom or transparent EDID emulation the user can fix and lock EDID data for each input connector. Advanced EDID management ensures that the desired resolution is enforced from any video source and the output format is set to align with system requirements. Moreover, the unit provides bi-directional and transparent transmission of IR, RS-232 and Ethernet signals.
The RS-232 and IR connection supports command injection, allowing for seamless control. Remote powering can be conveniently achieved through a single CAT5e or better cable, but a local power supply is also an option.
All devices can be easily mounted under the desk using the provided kits and Lightware’s thin and flexible 1-meter-long Premium High-Speed HDMI 2.0b cable is included as part of the package.
The built-in Event Manager room control feature provides the necessary control in a less complex application environment.
