Following invaluable feedback from industry professional and as a natural progression from the existing HDMI-TPS range, the new HDMI-TPS-TX96 & HDMI-TPS-RX96 models were intended to make operations significantly easier and quicker for users and integrators, without compromising on the renowned capabilities of their ‘95’ predecessors.
Advanced Technical Parameters for Easier Operation
Most notably, the new ‘96’ devices lack the manual jumpers that have been used in previous models to enable/disable remote powering, and instead offer automatic, bi-directional 12V remote power, an innovative improvement allowing operators and integrators to save significant time (and thus, money).
Furthermore, the new extender pairs also come with an improved, more reliable hardware design including ESD protection, whilst exchanging the D-Sub type RS-232 connectors to 3-pole Phoenix interface.
In regards to video transmission, the ’96’ devices are compatible with the same product range as the ’95' extenders, including the ‘95’ extenders themselves.
Although these next generation devices have been designed to offer full remote power compatibility with their ‘95’ predecessors, we highly recommend to always refer to the Quick Start Guide or check any uncertainties with our dedicated Sales and Support Teams if you intend to connect it to any other members of the HDMI-TPS 9x series.
Although our HDMI-TPS extenders use the well-known HDBaseT™ standard, we kindly advise against connecting them to a 3rd party extender device (even if those are also based on HDBaseT™) to avoid any operational risks of power-supply incompatibility.
Operational Update for Product Change-over
Please note that due to the planned discontinuation of the ‘95’ devices the new ‘96’ extenders are to be considered as the primary and default option for any upcoming projects.
