This extender pair is particularly popular with rental and staging applications, 4K live events and future-proof operation centers, being especially designed for dynamic environments with elevated levels of daily stress: the front rack ears serve easy handling and bump protection, while mounting threads on top and one of the sides conform strict installation safety regulations. The extender can transmit bi-directional RS-232 and two separate Gigabit Ethernet signals over a single fiber connection.
From 2019 we start shipping additional variants of this popular product with various optical connectors, and also a model with reinforced, rugged power inlet.
