Lightware Family: The power of values at a workplace

At the heart of Lightware's success lies a profound belief in the power of a supportive and caring workplace environment. As we delve into Lightware's story, we uncover the principles that have made it an appealing organization for the employees.

Gergely Vida, founder and CEO of Lightware expressed that everyone should feel good in their workplace and it is essential to him to have a comfortable atmosphere in the company.

We only have one life, and it's not possible to live it in anger, resentment, and only by chasing success. Since we spend a significant part of our lives together in the office, it is essential to enjoy it, otherwise our whole life won't be happy", he continued.

This applies to colleagues in the headquarters, in Hungary as well as to colleagues all around the world. They receive expertise from Lightware along with humanity and the opportunity to develop their skills and abilities. For Gergely, every colleague is equal, regardless of their geographical location. He admits that challenges exist everywhere, but at Lightware, at least it occurs in an encouraging environment. Despite the large size of over 400 employees, we strive to maintain a family-like atmosphere. The employees always help each other and everyone feels comfortable asking questions if they have any difficulties. This support is one of the most important values that Lightware follows and makes it an attractive workplace.

Gergely also brings personal experiences to his leadership from his family roots and try to keep the values that his Transylvanian grandfather taught him. He believes that treating each other with humanity and respect creates a great feeling, enabling success in our work and fostering friendships through collaboration. Regarding the functioning of Lightware, Gergely believes in working harmoniously while ensuring that cooperation is not compromised.

Gergely also emphasized that over the past 25 years, he can recall numerous failures, but they were also part of the journey that led to this point. To bring Lightware to its current global position, it required a tremendous amount of perseverance, alongside an intense level of motivation. He believes that if we develop in a timely manner, we can keep our strength and evolve successfully. In the upcoming part of our anniversary series, we will talk about the Covid-era, explaining Lightware's ability to thrive during a global crisis.
