New Lightware Office in Germany

Matthias Wolff gained his first experience in the media technology industry at a large AV system house in Hannover as a project manager and sales engineer after studying media operating technology in Hamburg. He then moved into sales at a leading manufacturer in the AV industry where he was an Area Manager for almost 15 years. Most recently he was responsible for the HR and Sales of the entire North and East German area.

"After some 15 years of strategic changes, and transformations in distribution policy at my previous employer, it was time to take on a new challenge. As an owner-managed European manufacturer, Lightware offers the ideal basis for contributing my knowledge, my experience and also my creativity in setting up and expanding the German subsidiary. Achim Jost, is another thoroughly experienced sales expert who will manage the Southern region of the German market for Lightware Germany. Achim Jost has been active in sales for almost 20 years working for manufacturers in the AV industry and has been the direct colleague of Matthias Wolff for the last 11 years. He was responsible for the south of Germany and the whole Austrian segment. Just like his colleague Matthias Wolff, Achim Jost was responsible for HR and Sales in his team.

I am sure that both of us, with our experience and our contacts, can develop the new Lightware Deutschland GmbH very quickly and position it accordingly in the market. When asked about his company’s entry to the German market, Lightware company founder and owner Gergely Vida explains:
